When we first started Faithfully Natural Soap Co., we quickly realized that one of the most important threads connecting us to others is generosity. We know from personal experience that the most successful people we’ve met are often the most giving. For us, that generosity comes from our faith.
Everything we have is a gift from God, and we believe it’s our responsibility—and joy—to give freely, just as He has given to us. Scripture has always been a guiding force in our work, especially the verse in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that says, “God loves a cheerful giver.” From the very beginning, this belief has shaped how we run our business and how we approach our customers and community.

Whether it’s through ethical sourcing, charitable partnerships, or supporting our local community, we see our business as a form of stewardship—a way of caring for people and creation alike. Faithfully Natural Soap Co. began with a single bar of soap and a simple desire to create something pure and natural. But as we’ve grown, so has our vision. Today, we offer a full line of skincare products—from shampoo bars and conditioners to deodorants, hydrosols, and more—all crafted with pure ingredients and prayerful intention.

The most exciting part of this journey for us is how personal it’s become. Through my role in marketing and community engagement, I get to share not just our products but our story with others. Looking to the Future: Serving Growing Families
One of our most exciting projects right now is developing a new line of products specifically for babies. This has been something we’ve prayed about for a long time, and we’re so excited to offer gentle, trustworthy care from the very beginning of life. Our goal is to serve growing families and offer safe, effective products that parents can trust.
We’re also preparing for more wholesale partnerships across the country, making our faith-driven, high-quality products more accessible. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.

The Three Qualities That Have Guided Us: Resilience, Teachability, and Faith
Looking back on our journey, there are three qualities that have been most impactful in helping us succeed: resilience, teachability, and faith.
Before we started Faithfully Natural Soap Co., Michael worked as a union ironworker in New York City—a job that demanded incredible physical and mental strength. The discipline and determination he developed in that high-risk, high-pressure environment have been crucial as we’ve faced our own challenges in building this business.
Starting a business wasn’t easy. There were late nights, financial sacrifices, and moments of uncertainty, but we learned to keep showing up, even when things felt fragile.
Another key trait has been teachability. Neither of us came into this with a formal business or cosmetic chemistry background. Instead, we dove in and learned everything from scratch. Michael immersed himself in product formulation, research, and experimentation, while I focused on branding, photography, and community building. We never stopped asking questions or seeking wisdom. We always remain humble in our pursuit of learning and growing.
But perhaps the most important quality of all has been faith. Every decision we make—from product development to branding to financial choices—is grounded in prayer and a deep reliance on God. Our business is a reflection of His work in our lives, and we trust Him with the results.
Advice for Entrepreneurs: Be Patient and Stay Rooted in Your “Why”
If we could give one piece of advice to anyone starting their own business, it would be this: Be patient with your process. Don’t despise small beginnings.
It’s easy to get caught up in the desire for instant results, but building something meaningful takes time. Stay humble, stay curious, and most importantly, stay aligned with your purpose. When you keep your heart focused on your "why" and your hands open to learning, the path will become clearer, and God will guide every step.
